Terms & Conditions — Saonix

These Terms govern your use of the Saonix app and services ("Saonix", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Saonix you accept these Terms together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

1. Who may use Saonix

You must be at least 13 to use the app, and at least 18 to register as a seller (trader, installer, or EPC company) or to make payments. You agree to provide true, current information — including your real name, phone, city, and, for sellers, genuine CNIC/NTN and shop or office photos. One person or business may not maintain duplicate accounts.

2. Verification and badges

Seller verification (including the "Verified" badge) is granted at our discretion after reviewing the information you submit, and may be refused or revoked if information proves false, outdated, or if a seller repeatedly violates these Terms. A badge means identity and premises checks were passed — it is not a guarantee of any transaction.

3. Saonix is a venue

The marketplace and installer directory connect independent buyers, sellers, and installers. Saonix is not a party to transactions between users — we do not own the listed products, take custody of goods, or guarantee performance of any seller, installer, or buyer. Inspect products, confirm specifications, and agree written terms before paying anyone. Keep your communication and deals inside the app; this protects both sides and is a condition of using the platform. Listings, rate cards, and profiles may not contain personal phone numbers, external links, or invitations to deal off-platform.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: post false or misleading listings or prices; upload content that is illegal, abusive, or unrelated to solar; misuse the AI assistant; attempt to scrape, copy, or resell Saonix data (including market rates) outside the app; interfere with the service's security or operation; or impersonate another person or business. Solar only — non-solar products and services may not be listed.

5. AI assistant — important safety disclaimer

The Saonix AI provides general solar information and troubleshooting guidance for convenience. It is not professional engineering, electrical, legal, or financial advice, and it can make mistakes. Never open inverter or battery casings; always switch off breakers/isolators before touching any wiring; stop immediately and call a professional if you see smoke, burning smells, or damage. Market rates shown are date-stamped snapshots that change daily — reconfirm before buying. Policy information (such as net metering) should be verified with your DISCO or the relevant authority. Savings depend on your usage and system — no outcome is guaranteed.

6. Paid plans and payments

Free features remain free. Paid plans run for 30 days from activation; renewals extend from the current expiry date. Payments are made by bank, JazzCash, or Easypaisa transfer to the official accounts shown in the app, quoting your unique payment code; activation happens after manual verification, normally within a few hours. Yearly and custom Enterprise plans are arranged through the in-app contact form. Prices may change prospectively — never for an already-paid period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of content you post (listings, photos, reviews, rate cards) and grant Saonix a license to host and display it within the service. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, and we may retain records required for legal or fraud-prevention purposes.

8. Our property

The Saonix name, app, design, databases (including the compiled market-rate and knowledge data), and software are the property of Saonix and are protected by law. Except for normal personal use of the app, you may not copy or exploit them.

9. Termination

You may stop using Saonix or request account deletion at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, provide false verification information, or create risk for other users, with notice where reasonable.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Saonix is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of Pakistan, we are not liable for dealings between users, for losses arising from reliance on AI answers or market rates, or for indirect or consequential losses; our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to Saonix in the 30 days before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. If we change these Terms we will update the effective date and notify significant changes in the app; continued use means acceptance. Contact: support@saonix.com.
